Even though you are given a choice in how to carry out the cremation or buriel for your loved one, there are numerous rules and regulations which need to be adhered to. This also includes the place where you would like the buriel or cremation to take place.
All of the rules and regulations are known to the funeral director and they will advise you on all of the issues surounding the buriel or cremation. However, if you there are any special requirements or arrangements that you and your family wish to take place, then you should inform the funeral director at the earliest possible moment.
Sometimes, relatives and friends place various belongings such as photographs or momentos in the coffin of the loved one that they have lost. However, in the case of a cremation there are various restrictions which our funeral directors can advise you on.
Cremations can be held in either a Service Chapel, Church or a location of your choice. If the service is held in the church, then the end of the service is known as the committal which can involve music being played and the coffin being gently moved from sight or curtains being drawn. These decisions can be discussed with the funeral director.
Our funeral directors have the necessary experience and can advise you on all of the arrangements that you wish to make for the buriel or cremation.
